Design and build polished, accessible front-end experiences for our compliance products—bridging UX research, visual design, and production-ready UI implementation.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end UX for key workflows: discovery, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and iterative validation with users and product.
- Implement responsive, accessible interfaces in modern HTML/CSS/JavaScript (and framework components used by the team).
- Establish and maintain design system patterns, tokens, and documentation aligned with brand and engineering constraints.
- Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts, loading states, error handling, and performance budgets.
- Conduct usability reviews, prototype tests, and incorporate feedback into shipped product increments.
- Ensure WCAG-oriented accessibility, cross-browser quality, and maintainable component structure.
Qualifications
- 4+ years combining UX/UI design and front-end development in product teams.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user flows, visual design, and shipped UI (not mockups only).
- Proficiency in Figma (or similar), HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and a modern component framework (React, Vue, or equivalent).
- Understanding of responsive layout, typography, interaction design, and design-system thinking.
- Experience partnering with engineers in Agile delivery; comfortable with Git and code review.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, CS, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with Django templates, HTMX, or server-rendered product surfaces.
- Familiarity with data-dense enterprise UIs, dashboards, and form-heavy compliance workflows.
- Basic motion design, illustration, or front-end build tooling (Vite, webpack) experience.
